Social Media
As part of her Marketing skills, Danielle has run social media accounts for various theatres and individual productions. She uses her design skills to create dynamic graphics and videos specific for each brand.
She has been contracted by The Grange Theatre on a per-show basis. Her first takeover resulted in growing the account from 273 to over 1,000 followers. A few months later she ran the Instagram again, growing the account by another thousand followers. There has been a marked difference in engagement during the time that she has run the account, versus the shows when she is not contracted. Read more about the show specific campaigns she designed below:
Danielle also has experience creating accounts from scratch: establishing a brand, building a following, and kicking off the show.
In September 2025, she started the account for a new show called piss.jpg (Working Title). There was a one-night only staged reading in October, but the production team knew that a full production was in the works for 2026. Danielle had to advertise the upcoming event, while also continuing to create content that was relevant and kept viewers interested in the brand, even without another event announced. The show is absurdist, allowing for Danielle to be playful in the marketing (creating fake review quotes, jumping on trends ironically, and finding a balance between taking itself too seriously and being obviously silly.
Danielle also initiated the social media for SantaCon The Play. This show also had a one-night reading planned for 2025 with a full production for 2026 in the works. This show had the added challenge of needing to drum up excitement and start marketing without being able to announce any concrete details initially (Negotiations were in progress with Richard Kind, who ended up starring in the fundraiser reading. The exact date was to be based on his availability, and of course his name couldn’t be shared until he officially signed on). Danielle had to develop ideas and pre-plan posts with the details so when she received permission, she could post immediately.
